One thing I always tell people who are interested in online dating is that they should first create an account and check out a site for a while before using their credit card to join the site. This is important because when you think about it, there’s not much sense in paying good money for a site that you will end up not using very much. Fortunately, most sites will let you create a free account and browse around the site as long as you like. As a matter of fact, using an eHarmony free trial was how I tried out this very popular dating site.

The free trial portion of the eHarmony site lets you take a lengthy personality test then create a profile on the site. The personality test is the crux of the compatibility matching system, so you should take that part seriously. Once you have your account made up, the system will begin sending you matches. By looking at these matches over a period of a couple weeks, you will likely be able to tell if the eHarmony matching system is something you want to invest in.

Thus, by using the free trial account, I will either 1 – saved money by deciding not to join, or 2 – be more confident about my decision if I do chose to sign up.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I find that the majority of video games these days eat up a good amount of time. For example, when I first started playing World of Warcraft, it took me 2 weeks to decide whether or not I wanted to get a monthly subscription. And during those 2 weeks, I was pretty much playing every single day. I guess my point is that in order to really judge whether you like a video game, it can take some time.

Given this fact, I have no idea why the free trial for gamefly is only 10 days long. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Gamefly, it’s an online service that lets you rent out games and have them sent to your home. Now, don’t get me wrong, I appreciate that they give a free trial at all, as many online services won’t do that. But 10 days? It would be nice if the gamefly free trial offer lasted for a full month, like the one at Netflix.

In fact, at one point Netflix wanted to get into the video game rental market. I personally would have liked to see this happen, but they abandoned those plans last year. So for now we only have Gamefly. I don’t mind, because it’s a good service, but a little competition always helps to make all services raise their game.

With that said, I must admit they do have some good commercials, like the one below -

Today I want to talk about contact lenses. I’ve been wearing them for years, and I used to buy them at the doctor’s office for something like $100 a box. One day a few years ago it occurred to me I might be able to buy them online, so I Googled “Contact Lenses.” To my surprise, there were tons of stores in the results, and what’s more they were selling my lenses for about half the price I ordinarily pay. Needless to say I jumped on board. Over the years the store that I’ve come to like the most is Lens.com. The reason for this is that you can get a Lens.com coupon here which will give you something like 15 – 25% in discounts. Mind you, this is on top of already pretty low prices. I think the most popular store out there, however, is 1800-contacts. They have some partnership with Walmart, but I’ve found they are not the cheapest. For me, using a lens.com coupon and buying from lens.com has worked out the best for me.

One of the habits I’m trying to kick is smoking. I don’t smoke a whole lot, but I do smoke about a half pack each day. Not long ago I read about e-cigarettes online and I’m seriously thinking about giving them a try.

Here is the thing, however. The starter kits cost around quite a bit of money, and for this reason I’ll probably do a bit more research before I take the plunge. I looked online to see if I can get a v2 cigs coupon and fortunately, they allow me to get an extra 15% off starter kits.

The main thing that makes me hesitate is that I’ve never smoked an e-cigarette, so I have no real idea what I’m getting into. If I end up not liking how they taste, that startup kit that I invested my money in could just wind up sitting in my closet.

The best v2 cigs coupon I could find gives me 15% off. If anyone knows a better coupon that’s out there, let me know in the comments section. Also, if someone can tell me whether these things are just like smoking the real thing or not, I’d appreciate it.
